📘

Webhook URL

The webhook is mandatory for all WooCommerce webshops. The Webhook makes sure the payment status of the order gets updated according to the status of the transaction in the Payvision Portal.

Payvision will perform some tests on this Webhook URL to check if it is working.

  • If OK: Payvision will send the Test Webhook Secret that must be filled in on the Set up page of the Payvision Payment Gateway.
  • If NOK: Payvision will contact you by email informing that the shared link is not working.
  1. Click on Save Changes.

Step 4: Perform test transactions

To make sure Payvision is properly connected to your WooCommerce webshop, you must perform at least one test transaction for one of the payment methods that are enabled for your account. See test cases for example test cases.

🚧

Make sure the Payvision plugin mode is set to Test

For example, you can do an iDeal transaction, which will display the below simulator where you can select the desired return code (e.g. Success) from the drop-down list (Note: 'Success' does not trigger any money exchange):

After completing the test transactions, you should:

  1. Check the test transactions (Transactions > E-commerce) in the Payvision Staging Portal.
  1. Check the test transactions (WooCommerce > Orders) in your WordPress Admin Portal.

🚧

You can begin with testing before having received the Webhook Secret from Payvision but the status of the test transactions will remain “On hold”.
The status will only be updated when the Webhook Secret is added in the WooCommerce Setup page of the Payvision Payment Gateway plugin.

Step 5: Request your certification

When you have completed your test transactions and the results are correct, Payvision is integrated correctly in your WooCommerce webshop. Before you can receive payments in your LIVE webshop, you need to complete the Payvision certification process.

  1. In the Staging Portal of Payvision, go to Integration and click on Certify my integration.
Your certification will be validated automatically by Payvision.

Step 6: Go Live

When your certification is passed you will receive an email from Payvision on how to proceed for the LIVE environment (Subject: “Your Payvision account is live!”):

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin Portal.
  2. Click on WooCommerce > Settings in the navigation panel on the left.
  3. Go to the tab Payments.
  4. Scroll down to Payvision Payment Gateway and click on Manage.
  1. Enter your Live API credentials that are available in the Payvision portal > Integration.
  2. The Live Webhook Secret can be requested by sending your Webhook URL to Payvision by sending an email to [email protected]
